Data Controller

For users and customers in the European Union, Landvex AB (Sweden, org.nr 559141-7042) acts as the EU-based data processor and EU representative under GDPR Article 27.

What We Collect

Account and API Data

• Name, email address, and company name provided at registration
• API keys and authentication tokens
• Billing information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers)

Usage Data

• API request logs: timestamps, endpoints called, response codes, latency
• IP addresses associated with API calls
• Browser and device information for the developer portal

Data Submitted via the API

Images, video frames, and other content submitted to AAMOS engines for processing are treated as customer data. We process this data solely to provide the requested service and do not use it to train our models without explicit written agreement.

How We Use It

• Providing and operating the AAMOS API and developer platform
• Billing and account management
• Security monitoring and fraud prevention
• Improving reliability and performance (aggregated, anonymised metrics only)
• Communicating service updates, security notices, and changes to these terms

We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising.

Data Retention

• API request logs: retained for 90 days, then deleted
• Account data: retained for the duration of the account plus 2 years after closure
• Customer-submitted content (images, etc.): deleted within 24 hours of processing unless a longer retention period is agreed in a Data Processing Agreement
• Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by applicable law

Your Rights (GDPR Articles 15–22)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Art. 15 — Right of access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Art. 16 — Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Art. 17 — Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Art. 18 — Right to restriction: Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances.
• Art. 20 — Right to data portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Art. 21 — Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Art. 22 — Automated decision-making: Not be subject to solely automated decisions with significant legal effect.

Data Transfers

Data processed by EU customers is processed within the EU by Landvex AB. Transfers to the United States (Landvex Inc) are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission. A copy of our SCCs is available on request.

Cookies

The AAMOS developer portal uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on this site.

Changes to This Policy

We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. The effective date above is updated with each revision.
